Load cell or hydraulic?

Load cell pedals (Fanatec CSL LC, Moza SRP, Heusinkveld Sprint) measure force directly and suit most racers. Hydraulic pedals (Simagic P1000, Heusinkveld Ultimate+, Asetek Invicta) add real fluid damping for the most realistic brake feel.

Do I need a cockpit for load cell pedals?

Anything above roughly 40kg of brake force needs a solid mount. Entry load cells can work on a wheel stand; serious sets belong on an aluminium-profile rig like the Sim-Lab P1X Pro.
